Irving, Texas – April 26, 2012 – NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading provider and integrator of advanced communication and IT solutions, will host a software-defined networking (SDN) interoperability demo at Interop Las Vegas 2012, May 8-10 in booth 815 at the Mandalay Bay. Multiple leading system and networking vendors will be shown operating with a single, programmable network, where services are delivered independent of hardware. In addition, NEC is showcasing its latest cloud-based data center solutions.
SDN Interoperability Demo
In this presentation, NEC and its partners will demonstrate the benefits of SDN while leveraging the OpenFlow standard in a multi-vendor network environment. Solutions demonstrated include the NEC ProgrammableFlow Controller 2.0 – a Best of Interop Las Vegas 2012 Finalist in the Management, Monitoring and Testing category – and joint network virtualization solution with Windows Server 2012.
