Improved Reliability
The NEC Express5800/1080Rf server has improved reliability through the combination of the A3 chipset and Itanium Machine Check Architecture (MCA). Mainframe technologies that increase the levels of system and application availability. These include the ability to detect and correct single and double bit errors reducing memory errors and improving overall system integrity by requiring significantly fewer reboots from memory failures.

Mainframe Reliability
The NEC Express5800/1000 Series system is divided into processing and memory "cells," each with four processor sockets and the associated memory.
