Next Generation Thin Client Devices
The NEC US100 and US110 thin client devices are based on the powerful NetClient processor which enables advanced multimedia application delivery. These thin clients sport a high-resolution graphics DSP to decompress/compress streaming audio/video content from the host computer. NEC has moved the underlying multimedia rendering functionally from the traditional PC to the thin client.

The NEC US300c thin client devices are based on standard x86 processor running Windows XP Embedded thin operating system. These thin clients have key features, such as dual-monitor support on the US300c.

*MMA: Multimedia Acceleration

NEC's Thin Clients are Multimedia-Ready
Because NEC's thin client devices de-encode multimedia files on the client side, the multimedia content can efficiently reach the US100 or US110 thin client device through existing network bandwidth, with enough horsepower to play high-resolution video at full frame rate. Literally, hundreds of virtual PC users can simultaneously view multimedia files on the same network.

The US100 and US110 sport a high resolution graphics card and a dedicated DSP to decompress/compress streaming audio-video content from the host computer. These devices are designed to be connected to a server in the datacenter hosting multiple virtual PCs. This architecture solution is the most cost-effective, easiest to manage and maximizes business PC efficiencies. NEC's complete PC virtualization solution is called Virtual PC Center.
