Interoperability among different brands and types of equipment is key to achieving optimum performance in storage systems. In order to address this complexity, NEC operates an Interoperability Lab that conducts some of the most extensive and rigorous, end-to-end, interoperability testing spanning major platforms and operating system environments. NEC's storage products are tested in various hardware and software environments that are designed to simulate customer environments. Testing is also done in cooperation with partners to verify interoperability before the product is deployed to customers.
