NEC's iPASOLINK 100E is a powerful, yet extremely compact split architecture microwave radio, providing up to 370Mbps of L2 traffic throughput.

Specifically designed as a low-cost, highly versatile radio system, the iPASOLINK 100E provides all of the carrier-grade features expected with a much more costly device.


NEC has minimized cost without sacrificing performance. Seamless adaptive modulation from QPSK to 256QAM provides maximum throughput and protected bandwidth for critical traffic. VLAN support, using 802.1Q and L2CP Tunneling provides secure data separation and granular bandwidth management.

Simple Installation — iPASOLINK 100E is extremely versatile, with mounting options for 19” or 23” EIA equipment racks, wall mount, or desktop installation. The temperature resilient design does not require forced air cooling, and can be mounted horizontally or vertically, depending on available space. NEC designed the iPASOLINK 100E to be cost effective. One more way we achieve this is by utilizing horizontal air flow to cool the IDU. Two iPASOLINK 100E IDU’s can be mounted in a single rack space, with no “gap” necessary on top or bottom of the units. Environmental temperatures of –5 to +50° C are no problem.


Small Capital Cost plus Small Power Draw equals Big ROI — The maximum power iPASOLINK 100Econsumption rating of the iPASOLINK 100E is a mere 25 Watts. The low capital cost, combined with the additional cost savings of low power consumption and common sparing gives you maximum return on investment, with very low total cost of ownership.


Compatibility with existing iPASOLINK systems — iPASOLINK 100E shares common system components with the iPASOLINK 250/650 family of radios, including ODU’s, hybrids, couplers, and antennas.
